HOW DO I BOOK WITH GLAMSQUAD:MAKEUPBYCHELSEA?
To book /inquire about a wedding date please use the contact form. All forms will be responded to via email within 48 hours. Services are booked on a first come, first serve basis. To reserve your wedding date, a non-refundable/ non-transferable deposit of $100 toward the total cost of services is required at the time of booking and signing the contract. The remaining balance is due 14 days prior to the wedding date. If your wedding is less than two weeks away at the time of booking, 100% of payment is due. Please fill out the contact form on the home page, to its entirety. Once I have received the form, I will prepare your proposal for your review and send back to you via email. Should you decide to move forward, your proposal will then become your Bridal contract. It must be signed & sent back to me via email within 3 days along with your non refundable security deposit. Once I have received both the contract signed and deposit, your date is secured and we are now your official Glam Squad for your big day! Yay!
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK?
The recommended timeframe for booking is 8-10 months however we typically book within a year or two, out. Last minute planner? Don't fret friend, If our team has the availability to provide services for your wedding date, we got ya covered!
CAN I REQUEST A SPECIFIC ARTIST/STYLIST?
You can request a specific artist/stylist, however should that artist/stylist not have availability, we will provide you with one of our other amazing artist/stylist. Each artist/stylist is licensed, professional & trained to offer only the best quality services. We stay up to date on trends & are continuously taking classes to further our education in this ever evolving industry.
ARE THERE ADDITIONAL FEES FOR EARLY MORNING WEDDINGS?
There will be an early start time fee of $75 for H/M services needed before 7am
DO YOU OFFER IN-STUDIO SERVICES?
We offer In-studio services for those who would like to travel to my studio in Conway, SC. Address will be provided upon booking. Special Occasion, Bridal Previews, Trials & Prom Hair and Makeup will take place in studio.
WHAT IF MY BRIDAL PARTY IS PAYING FOR THEIR SERVICES?
This is typical, however I only collect payment in one lump sum by the Bride. The total agreed upon in the contract is to be paid 14 days prior to the wedding date.
WHAT IF SOMEONE IN THE BRIDAL PARTY NO LONGER WANTS THEIR HAIR &/OR MAKEUP DONE?
The bride is responsible for all services agreed upon in the contract. If a bridal party member decides they no longer want to participate in hair/makeup services, the bride is still liable for payment. We understand certain circumstances arise & the option to have someone fill a spot that has come available, is acceptable. Please see the Cancellation Policy addressed in the contract for more information. An exact headcount allows for GlamSquad.By Chelsea and her team, to properly prepare for the services agreed upon. When offering your bridal party the option of choosing whether or not they want to recieve hair and makeup services, I highly recommend encouraging them to do so. This is an important day that will be photographed and kept for years to come. The hair and makeup are important factors in looking and feeling your absolute best on such a special day. That being said, my company has an image & this ensures that the look/style that we provide, is professionally done & ensured to last all day & night, flows seamlessly on everyone & that we are able to share & advertise 100% of the photos. If someone else does their own, we’re not able to share those group photos, so we always encourage our Brides/Bridal party who have certain ones in their group that are contemplating doing their own/ having someone else perform the service, to participate in receiving hair and makeup services, professionally by my team. We work hard to ensure that everyone looks & feels amazing on the Brides most special day. As a great bonus- it’s a relaxing experience; a treat!
WHAT TYPE OF PRODUCTS ARE USED DURING A SERVICE?
We use high end brands that are sure to last all day & night. We aim to use products that accommodate all skin tones, types, colors as well as a variety of hair textures . Please list any allergies / Skin conditions you may have on the contact form.
CAN I REQUEST FOR A STYLIST TO STAY ONSITE FOT A RESTYLE POST CEREMONY?
Yes, For each additional hour beyond those quoted to service the Bride and bridal party, there is a $75 fee plus a restyle fee of $110.
HOW CAN I BOOK A SPECIAL OCCASION GLAM SESSION?
Please fill out the info form & provide us with inspo photos. A non refundable $25 retainer will be due to hold the date. The remaining balance will be due on the day of your appointment. On the day of- I will be accepting cash only! Please bring the amount due in an envelope, sealed, with your name on it. Tips are not required but surely appreciated & smaller bills work best if possible. The week prior, Please reach out via email with a photo of you bare face & in natural lighting as well as a hair photo & inspo pictures (it's helpful if you use inspo from prior work we have done &/or finding inspo with the same skin tone/similar features as yourself) so that we are best prepared. On the day of your appointment, please come with clean skin & freshly washed/ blown out hair. Don’t forget to groom your facial hair & have a good skin care regimen in place. If you plan to bring hair extensions, please let us know. (If you’re a repeat client - skip the natural photo and just send us your inspo pics).
WEDDING CANCELLATION POLICY
Your non refundable / non transferable $100 security deposit will not be returned under any circumstance. Additional Cancellation policies will be listed in the client contract.
FAQ'S
DO YOU TRAVEL & IS THERE A FEE?
Absolutely! When traveling on-site a $25 flat rate fee will be applied plus an additional $1 per mile per artist/stylist RT Additional Travel Charges: parking/valet/toll/hotel fees must be paid by the bride if applicable. Lodging accommodations will be needed the day prior if driving over 2 hours with an early start time of 7:00am The Travel fee accounts for the time driven, the distance to and from, travel costs, unloading/unpacking, setting up, breaking down, re-packing/loading and the inability to take another client as the time it took to travel to the onsite location.
IS THERE A MINIMUM SERVICE REQUIREMENT TO BOOK?
In order to book Fri- Sun weddings , There is a 5 person minimum for both hair and makeup services, including the Bride. Flower girl is not included in this number. We do offer exceptions for Bride only, however there will be an up charge. ($300 for H/M + Travel) There is No minimum required for weekday (Mon-Thursday) weddings. Under no circumstance is your deposit refundable or transferable (unless I feel that is absolutely necessary)
WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
At the time of booking Makeup &/or Hair for your wedding, a $100 non-refundable/ non-transferable retainer will be paid to Chelsea McCracken with GlamSquad: By Chelsea LLC. The remaining balance will be due 30 days prior to the wedding. I accept Cash, Apple Pay & Credit Card is accepted (3% transaction fee **) Gratuity is not included but highly appreciated! DO YOU OFFER HAIR &/OR MAKEUP TRIALS & WOULD THAT BE AN ADDITIONAL FEE?
Yes! We do offer trials prior to booking, however our weddings are first come, first serve basis with a non refundable deposit of $100 toward the total cost of services & a signed contract. We cannot guarantee that your wedding date will still be available by the time your trial date arrives. Trials are an additional fee as it is an additional service. Trials can take anywhere from 45-60 minutes. We also encourage trials for our Brides whom have already secured their date but are unsure of the look they would like to achieve for their big day. This consult ensures we curate a look that brings out your natural beauty and makes you feel most confident & beautiful in your own skin while allowing a smooth transition for Bridals & Wedding day. Trials are not limited to the Bride only & can be utilized for anyone in the bridal party who would like one. Trials/Bridal previews are scheduled throughout the week preferably Monday - Thursday. Friday, Saturday and Sunday appointments may be available but are typically reserved for a wedding party.
WHAT IS A BRIDAL PREVIEW?
An in depth, 2.5 hour bridal hair and makeup preview to get you excited for your big day. This is used for Brides who have already secured their booking who typically will use this for a Bridal Portrait session.

-Wear white! 🤍 -Hydrofacial, Dermaplane, waxed brows -Fresh Color, blow out & extensions if needed On the day of- I will be accepting cash only! ARE LASHES INCLUDED IN A MAKEUP SERVICE?
We provide all products to complete a glam session for both Hair & Makeup. Each Makeup service comes with complimentary lashes.
WHY SHOULD I HIRE A PROFESSIONAL HAIR & MAKEUP ARTIST?
Hiring a professional Artist &/or Stylist will ensure quality hair & makeup that will look fabulous and is guaranteed to last all day and night! Not to mention getting your makeup &/or Hair done is a luxury experience and on your wedding day you should be able to relax knowing you will look & feel BEAUTIFUL on your most special day! Our artist &/or stylist will leave you with a bridal touch up kit that will include a sample of the lip color used, lash spoolie, mint, puff, setting powder and blotting paper.
WHAT SPECIAL ACCOMMODATIONS ARE NEEDED FOR THE ARTIST/STYLIST ON WEDDING DAY?
Natural lighting, outlets, table space & high/low chairs are key to a good work space for our artist & stylist. Although we will have all the necessities to provide a full glam service, we ask that you have these accommodations available should we need anything additional.
ADDITIONAL FEES
- A $100 Tear down and relocate fee should we have to move from one location to another. Please advise of this when booking so that we can make certain we fit the extra time needed to tear down/relocate/drive time & set back up , in to the schedule - A $25 late fee will be applied for every client late to their designated time slot. Please advise your bridal party, if not arriving when the initial start time begins, to be at the location where H/M will take place at least 30 minutes earlier than their designated time slot. - A $25+ touch up fee (after the initial complimentary touch up included in pricing) will be applied for every client who needs an additional touch up, prior to your artist/stylist finishing the bridal party. Please advise your bridal party to go over the check list for day of wedding to ensure their hair and makeup looks flawless & last all day & night. - A $25 blow dry fee will be applied if anyone in the bridal party arrives with wet/damp hair. Please refer back to our skin/hair prep for day off. Arriving unprepared delays our time and takes away time from the bridal party as a whole.
STUDIO CANCELLATION/NO SHOW POLICY
Your non refundable / non transferable $25 security deposit will not be returned under any circumstance. We require a 48 hour notice for appointment cancellations. Clients who cancel with less than 48 hour notice, are subject to pay in full the service reserved, prior to booking a future appointment.
